Chris has an Electrical Engineering and Computer Programming background. She owned and ran her own business for many years. She started Birthday Dreams in 2009 in her garage. She has worn many hats through the years in her role as ED: volunteer coordinator, purchasing, gift wrapping, delivery driver, bookkeeper, Board Chair, grant writer, and many more. She also created the website and the inventory management program which are used in the day to day operations of the business. Chris is blessed to have an extremely strong, capable team who know how very important their mission is.
Jarod Drozdowski is the newest team member of Birthday Dreams. As our Development Director, Jarod brings nearly 20 years of non-profit and fundraising management experience to our organization. In his professional career, Jarod has worked in arts/culture, academia, city government, and non-profit healthcare settings. One highlight was being the “Official Security Detail” for Santa and Mrs. Claus when he was the Event Director of the Christmas Lighting Ceremony in Leavenworth, WA. He is a proud dad of a terrific 7-year old son and a constantly-shedding 10 year old dog. Jarod holds a B.A. in Art History and a M.S. in Cultural Resource Management. In his spare time, Jarod enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, painting landscapes, photography, and continuing his research of ancient world cultures.
Robbie started working for Birthday Dreams as an intern in 2018. She has a background of 10 years in collections and customer service. Robenita is responsible for running the programs and managing staff, interns and volunteers. She ensures that quality products are delivered. She is responsible for putting together birthday parties, and assisting with inventory tracking. She works with the local community, creating partnerships to provide locations for birthday parties. She has a way of talking to our clients that keeps them comfortable and ensures they get the services and contacts that they need.
Lee has been with Birthday Dreams since 2017. He has a background of 18 years in medical reception, hospitality and customer service. Lee is responsible for inventory tracking, delivering birthdays, purchasing and assisting with putting together birthday parties. He began as an intern. His attention to detail, computer abilities and willingness to do whatever is needed was appreciated and he was hired on when his internship expired.
Dalia has a Business and Event Planning background. In her professional career, Dalia has worked in Real Estate, Customer Service, Hospitality, Aerospace, and Medical fields. Dalia holds a B.S. in Marketing with a Services Marketing certificate from the University of Central Florida (UCF), as well as a Project Management certificate from the University of Washington. She is a proud mother of a 13-year-old son, Yosef, and is an active volunteer as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Committee Member for his Scouts BSA Troop (formerly known as Boy Scouts). In her spare time, Dalia enjoys hiking, skiing, working out, playing board games, arts and crafts, camping, and just spending time with friends and family.
Kimoura began volunteering with Birthday Dreams in 6th grade and has been a valuable member of her community since that time. Her tireless efforts to assist in operations have proved invaluable to Birthday Dreams, even going as far as giving up her winter breaks to assist with yearly inventory. During her high school years, she completed over 155 hours of community service, including organizing community events for a local high school. She brings a fresh set of eyes to Birthday Dreams and helps us to keep up with the times. She is a skilled verbal communicator when answering questions posed to her by clients, caseworkers, and volunteers.
