Volunteer Support

Birthday Dreams is blessed with an army of volunteers dedicated to bringing smiles to kids who are homeless on their birthdays. But we always need more. Volunteers can help us in the following ways:

• Parties:  We often need volunteers to lead on-site parties at the shelters we serve. This fun opportunity allows you to see the impact of a birthday party firsthand.
• Baking:  Yes, we can buy generic cakes or cupcakes from the store- and sometimes we have to. But volunteer bakers are able to make something special and unique for each individual child.
• Deliveries:  We provide multiple parties each week with a traveling range from Tacoma to Everett. A larger core of volunteer deliverers is much needed.
• Office:  We often have tasks to be done around the office. Help by wrapping gifts, putting birthday boxes together, and more.
• Events:  Like planning and executing events? Sign up to assist in putting together our fun annual gala!
• Party Drives:  We need party supplies all year long. Organizing a toy or party supply drive is a great way to make sure we have the essentials that make a birthday.
• Service Projects:  Make party hats, birthday cards, or decorate and fill goody bags with friends of co-workers.
